The Closter Nature Center will hold “Pets 101” classes through March

What it means to have a pet, what animals make good pets, and what it takes to keep them happy and healthy will be discussed all this month at Closter Nature Center’s “Pets 101.”

With the help of the center's animal residents, participants can learn about responsibility, compassion, the work and the joy of having animal companions.

Pre K and K programs will be held, Tuesdays – March 14, 21 and 28.

First and second graders, Wednesdays – March 15, 22 and 29;.

Third to sixth graders, Thursdays –March 16, 23 and 30.

The center is at 154 Ruckman Road, Closter.

The cost is $50. Time for all programs is from 3:45 to 5 p.m.

To register for classes, call Marc 201-750-2778 to reserve a place in class.
