NJVMA seeks nominations for 22nd Annual Animal Hall Of Fame

The New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association is accepting nominations for the 22nd Annual Animal Hall of Fame.

For the past 20 years, the NJVMA Animal Hall of Fame has recognized over 100 animal and animal welfare advocates in an effort to generate awareness of the veterinary profession in the state of New Jersey.

To nominate an animal or animal welfare advocate, please complete the NJVMA Animal Hall of Fame application which can be found on the NJVMA website at http://njvma.org/online-nomination-form/

The submission deadline is Nov. 11. 


Inductees will be honored at a public awards ceremony scheduled for Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center in Florham Park.

To be considered, all nominations must include the completed official application, the name and contact information of the nominee’s veterinarian, and a letter of nomination from the nominee’s owner or veterinarian explaining how the animal has exhibited special abilities or has demonstrated courage. Nominations may also include additional letters of support, photographs, videos, drawings or newspaper clippings.
