Butterfly festival returns to the Teaneck Farmers’ Market Aug. 18

The Cedar Lane Management Group will host another children’s summer event. In the midst of your shopping your children can be entertained with song, storytelling and creative artwork.

Mark your calendars for Thu., Aug. 18 for “The Butterfly Festival” with musician Lauren Hooker. She’ll have two free shows, of her “Mariposa, Butterfly at 2:30 and 4 p.m. The market is at Garrison Avenue and Beverly Road municipal parking lot in Teaneck.

This time children are encouraged to come in their own butterfly costumes. Also featured that day, starting at 12:30 p.m., will be beekeeper Daniel Senter, with his bee’s frames, face painting with Indigo Art Studios, $3 per design. Bring your children, backyard camps, and grandchildren to the arts and crafts project’s table with our co-sponsors, The Teaneck Creek Conservancy.
