FarmHouse Fresh introduces picture book: Each purchase donates dog beds to animal shelters in the U.S.

Buy a book, become a dog bed fairy.

This is the promise of FarmHouse Fresh, a natural and organic skincare company, that has parlayed its philanthropic animal rescue mission into an 18-page picture book that when purchased ($10 retail), donates $7 directly to the donation of dog beds for a waiting list of shelters and rescues around the country.
In return for book purchases, the company turns customers’ personal selfies into “Certified Dog Bed Fairies” complete with wings and halos.

The 18-page hard-cover picture book is titled It True They Call You the Dog Bed Fairy?”It retails for $10 on the company’s website (www.farmhousefreshgoods.com) and through participating spas and retail stores carrying FarmHouse Fresh products.

“It is estimated that more than 4 million dogs enter shelters each year. Having a comforting bed while they await their rescue or forever family is important. City shelters often have no funds for bedding, yet it is such a basic necessity to keep animals off of cold, hard floors. Imagine if you spent 24 hours a day lying on concrete?” said Shannon McLinden, CEO of FarmHouse Fresh in a statement. “Our goal is to outfit entire shelters, one at a time, whether they need 30 beds or 100.”
