PAWS for reading program in Wayne

Does your child feel that reading is a chore?

The Wayne Preakness Branch Library is offering its “PAWS for Reading” program to help kids improve their confidence in their reading abilities without having someone correct their errors every few words.
While reading, the child can pet, cuddle, and enjoy a nice intimate one-on-one experience with a comforting gentle dog.

“PAWS for Reading” is held at the library on Hamburg Turnpike on the first Monday afternoon of each month.

Register online at www.waynepubliclibrary.org for Feb. 2, March 7, April 4, May 2, and June 7, for either the 3:45 p.m. or 4:10 p.m. sessions.

For further information please phone librarian Wendy Sandford at 973-694-7110, ext. 200.
