Registration now open for Liberty Humane Society’s Oct. 10 Bark in the Park fundraising event

Liberty Humane Society has opened registration to participants to be a part of its 12th Bark in the Park, taking place in Hoboken’s Stevens Park from noon to 5 p.m. Sat., Oct. 10.

Businesses interested in being a part of Bark in the Park 2015 can visit www.libertyhumane.org to download the business partnership packet and forms or email Susie@libertyhumane.org for more information.

This year, Liberty Humane will welcome Chloe Kardoggian, celebrity dog, Ava Nieves, Pet Fashion Couture designer to host a Pet Fashion Show; Laura Waddell of K9 Problem Solvers for an Ask the Trainer session; Jersey City Police Department K9 unit for a demonstration; a pet costume contest; dog agility demonstrations and training; shelter adoption center; delicious goods from Carlos Bakery and a special appearance by Mauro Castano, from the television show, “Cake Boss”; a bouncy house, face painter and kids activities; discounted vaccinations and micro-chipping.

Participants can also get tools to build their very own fundraising website so they can ask friends and family to donate to their walk and raise funds to support Liberty Humane Society. The individual walker or walk team that raises the most money wins prizes and special recognition at the event.
