Worldwise teams with Dogs4Diabetics to celebrate “Assistance Dog Appreciation Month"

Worldwise, a pet products manufacturer, is joining forces Dogs4Diabetics to celebrate Assistance Dog Appreciation Month.

Every D4D medical assistance dog placed with a client in the month of August will receive a TrustyPup pet bed and goDog toy complements of Worldwise.

Dogs4Diabetics is a non-profit organization that trains dogs to use their remarkable sense of smell to detect drops in insulin-dependent diabetic’s blood sugar, often before the change can be detected by existing technologies. D4D also provides placement and follow-up services to the dog and diabetic teams.

“We are proud to partner with Dogs4Diabetics to celebrate the amazing work of the assistance dogs they train,” said Kevin Fick, CEO of Worldwise in a statement. “These dogs not only provide life-saving support to the diabetics they help, but also provide peace of mind to their families as well. It’s an invaluable service.”
