The Planet Dog Foundation awards $60,000 in new grants in support of canine service organizations

The Planet Dog Foundation, Planet Dog’s non-profit grant-making organization, has announced the recipients of $60,000 in new grants awarded to twelve canine service organizations throughout the country.
The PDF grants will help fund service dog, therapy dog, police dog, and K-9 search and rescue programs and support a wide variety of non-profit programs that are helping children and adults in need.

The grantees are: America’s VetDogs in Smithtown, N.Y.; Assistance Dogs of the West in Santa Fe, N.M.; Canine Therapy Corps in Chicago, Ill.; Embrace A Vet in Harpswell, Maine; A Fair Shake for Youth in New York, N.Y.; The Good Dog Foundation in New York, N.Y.; Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; OccuPaws Guide Dog Association in Madison, Wisc.; The Other Paw Assistance Dogs in Fairbanks, Alaska; Penn Vet Working Dog Center in Philadelphia, Penn.; Southeastern Guide Dogs in Palmetto, Fla.; and Youth United for Survival in Hartford, Conn.
