Purr’n Pooch Foundation for animals announces its grant awards in animal rescue and rehabilitation

The Purr’n Pooch Foundation for Animals recently awarded over $25,000 among six nonprofit animal rescue and rehabilitation organizations. Since 2010, the Foundation has awarded over $150,000 in financial and in-kind donations of pet supplies and food to non-profit, no-kill animal and marine mammal rescue and welfare organizations.

Recent grantees include these New Jersey groups — All Critters Rescue from Spotswood; New Life Boxer Rescue from Kenilworth; American Rescue Dog Corporation from Howell; Cat Assistance Network from Allenhurst; All Fur Love Animal Rescue from Freehold; and Ayla’s Acres from Saint Augustine, Fla. Donations are used for day-to-day operations, emergency relief, spay/neuter efforts, veterinary care, equipment, construction, vehicle purchases, educational programs and special projects.

Funds for the Purr’n Pooch Foundation for Animals’ grantmaking efforts are raised through special events organized for all ages, people and pets. Events include a canine run/walk, summer party and collection drives.
