Couples with their dogs when they say "I Do"

Wedding season is in full swing, and this year more and more furry guests are making appearances at ceremonies and receptions.

With 65% of households owning pets in the U.S., it’s no surprise that recently more couples are opting to include their best friends in their wedding ceremonies. Many people consider their pet to be their best friend or part of the family, so it only makes sense that more brides and grooms are taking part in this big day trend.

Couples are even including their pets in the ceremony, allowing them to walk down the aisle, stand with the wedding party during the ceremony, or giving them a special role such as ring bearer or flower girl.

Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts, located in Tinton Falls and Wall, NJ, knows all about what it takes to include a pet in a wedding. They offer couples special services for weddings – handling, transporting grooming and boarding the pup for the special occasion. They also prep the dog before he makes his appearance and care for him while the happy couple are enjoying their first night as Mr. and Mrs., and also while off on their honeymoon.
