Many times, people don’t do enough research before buying or rescuing a Great Dane puppy only to find out that they grow to between 100 and 200 pounds and it’s too much work for them.
Great Danes are indoor dogs that require training.
The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is currently looking for foster homes that meet our criteria.
MAGDRL operates in a 7 state region extending from lower New York, to Virginia. It spays and neuters, as well as providing the medical treatment necessary to return the Dane to good health. They also provide training and socialization to ensure their adaptability to new homes.
